• You must be the business owner
• You must be a Canadian resident
• Your business must be for profit
• You must not have a negative credit bureau report rating
• You can only complete an online application for a maximum of three owners, if more, complete a paper application.

About Applying Online

To apply online, your agreement to the Terms and Conditions as a signing officer of the Business and also in your personal capacity is required in order to submit an application for a Canadian Tire Commercial Link MasterCard account. This is done by typing your full name and date under the "Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions" section which appeared at the end of the "Read and Agree to our Terms and Conditions" pages. You and your business are individually and jointly liable for Canadian Tire Commercial Link MasterCard debt.

If there is more than one owner applying, please arrange to have all owners at the computer as we require agreement to the Terms and Conditions and personal information from all of you.

Steps to applying online for a Canadian Tire Commercial Link MasterCard

3. Fill out the online application form.
4. Print out a copy of the completed form before you submit it, for personal reference.
5. After submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation number, and a phone number to call if you have any questions.

The Information you need to apply online:

• The phone number(s) and address(es) of the main financial institution(s) you use, for personal and business banking, if applicable;
• If you have personal borrowings (such as mortgage, loan, line of credit and credit cards), current information about these borrowings;
• Information about your personal assets and liabilities is only mandatory for credit limits above $10,000;
• If you have another occupation aside from this business, your most recent gross income from this other occupation and your employer's address and telephone number;
• Your previous home address, if you have lived at your current home address for less than 2 years;
• If you are requesting employee cards, the date of birth of your employees;

To apply online, you must have an Internet browser with a 128-bit encryption feature. Netscape Communicator^®†† and Microsoft Internet Explorer^®†† are both available with 40-bit and 128-bit encryption. If your browser does not use this level of encryption, Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer can be downloaded from the suppliers by visiting one of their web sites.

Should you prematurely disconnect your browser connection to Canadian Tire World Wide Web server, or lose network connectivity before submission of your application is completed, the information entered on the application form will not be saved on the World Wide Web server or any other system in Canadian Tire network. There is no recovery mechanism available for any lost data and you would be required to resubmit the entire application again should you wish to apply at a later time.
